I am very satisfied with my service from On Guard Pest Control. The entire experience was professional and pleasant. I was scheduled quickly and guided to the right service for my specific issue. John was sent out to our home and I immediately felt he had a complete understanding our problem. He confirmed his diagnosis by showing us examples and explaining the treatment thoroughly. He was conscientious about our pets and lifestyle. Additionally, he provided preventative tips to help us in the future. John was quick, efficient, and tidy in his work. When he was finished, I scheduled a follow-up visit and John explained what we are looking for in terms of managing our pest problems. Nico was an absolute gem! He arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of my apartment to make sure any and all holes were filled to prevent critters from returning. He also laid traps and ensured me that he would take care of the disposal if anything were to get caught in them. I was terrified of my apartment before he arrived and he left me feeling safe and confident in my home. Shaun and the On Guard team are amazing. Booking an appointment was smooth. Shaun arrived and we knew immediately we were in good hands. He assessed our situation, made his suggestion and immediately began to work. Before he left he told us what he did and why. He left us information as to what we should and should not do as a follow. Super polite, very patient, took extremely good care of me and my apartment. Checked every nook and cranny I needed him to look at. He took pictures and documented everything so I understood what he was doing and what steps he took to address the problem. He left some traps to be able to check entry points of critters should I see any, but honestly, I feel a lot better now than I did before his visit. I do not like bugs and I'm feeling like Louis took steps to ensure my comfort and safety so that I never see one again. ~ George G

Lou was absolutely fantastic! We just moved into a new building and he took the time to carefully inspect the entire apartment for potential entry points for unwanted pests. We were apprehensive about spraying insecticide in our apartment because we have two cats. He suggested alternative ways to prevent bugs and insects and assured me of other “pet friendly” alternatives should we have any problems down the road. Extremely professional and helpful! Malik came to service my apartment today for a mice problem - and wow what a star! He arrived on time and was so pleasant his entire time. He explained everything he was doing and took care to check for entry points for mice throughout my whole apartment. He filled and set poison at these entry points and set traps anywhere I had seen mice scurry about. The service took less than an hour, I learned so much, and feel such relief after my first experience with this company and rodent control. ~ Samantha T

Waqas was beyond helpful with helping us with our apartment’s cockroach problem. He went over what methods he was using to take care of the problem as he applied them. He was also very delicate when moving things around in areas he needed to reach. When applying a treatment below our kitchen sink he reorganized the whole area on his own accord and saved use the time from having to do that. I am grateful that he assisted us and helped us kick off the new year pest free! ~ Michael F

Louis has not only treated our apartment, but helped us get to the root of our issue. After carefully inspecting our apartment, he was able to detect an issue with turf grass we had placed on our balcony absorbing moisture. It surprised me , and my dog, when I had a new exterminator arrived to provide monthly pest control service to my home. However.. it was not business as usual for him. Louis .. actually cared and listened to my problems/ needs and followed through as well as giving great tips for me to help my issues i.e. lantern flies and pantry Beatles. Yuck. Bed bugs are a New Yorker’s darkest fear but thankfully OnGuard was able to service the same day. They not only came to inspect but also did the services on the spot! Big shout out to Malik who did a thorough job of inspecting our furniture and advising us on best practices. He kept it real and didn’t admonish us for all of our crazy questions! Just had an inspection of my Brooklyn apartment done by OnGuard. Nico was very thorough and empathetic. Although nothing notable was found, just having an expert inspect will give me much needed peace of mind. Kayla, who answered my call / plea for help, was also great. Must say what a great professional Keith Sanchez is from OnGuard pest control. It was about rat infestation in a back yard. Louis has been exceptional at servicing my apartment and entire building. He is always extremely polite and diligent and identified the opening where roaches were able to enter my apartment which no other exterminator had found over the many years I’ve been tackling our issue. Mark from OnGuard Pest Control did a fantastic job! We called them up after seeing a mouse in our kitchen, and he was here within a couple of hours. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and very patient about my fear of mice! Mark found the 2 holes used by the mouse, sealed them up, laid traps, and gave us excellent advice for future mouse-avoidance. I would like to say that the pest control services rendered by this firm is extremely good and second to none, because they conduct proper due diligence by checking and resetting traps and validating what works and what doesn’t work, exactly what is necessary for pest control and management of such.
